 Martin Suter

Martin Suter, born in 1948 in Switzerland, is a former advertising executive. He became known for his column in the Weltwoche newspaper (1992-2004) which now appears in the Tages-Anzeiger. He has been a full-time author since 1991, publishing four novels, for which he has received several awards. His novel A Deal with the Devil has been shortlisted for the 2008 CWA Duncan Lawrie International Dagger Award.
